[Review] Karolina Laskowska Ania and Liliana

Karolina Laskowska Liliana Bra

It’s safe to say that Karolina Laskowska is my favourite underwear designer. Ever. In the years I followed her career it was impressive to see how she already started her business while she was still in college and built a brand and name - a force to be reckoned with! Also, from what glimpses I caught of her as a person she just really rocks. And long haired metal chicks are always something good for the world.
When she is not elbow deep in gorgeous lace or vintage kimono silk for her collections she's also seen creating beautiful bespoke pieces. In 2014 she then won the "New Designer of the Year" award of the UK Lingerie Awards, she is a regular columnist for The Lingerie Addict and blogs about lingerie, corsets, vintage underthings and more on her blog Knickerbocker Stories. And her family has quality pics of their dog which totally made my day.

There are rumours that she also sleeps and eats, but I'm not sure whether those are true ;)

I already reviewed one piece by Karolina Laskowska on my blog, many moons ago. Last time it was a sample piece bra of her pre-college era.
This time I’m proud to be able to show you one whole set and a bra, after college era, and I can say MIND BLOWN.

[Review] ParaNoire Design "Leo Leo Lace"

Leo Leo Lace Kitty

A month ago I spent a long weekend at ParaNoire Design Headquarters and today I'll review the set she made for me during my stay!
I bought the leo stretch lace a while ago and already made some small accessories for myself but I thought it would be the perfect fabric for a nice supercute underwear set, so I brought it with me on our #bracation. Together we decided what patterns to use and then Evi made a bralet and knicker set for me, adding some of her flower lace and a lace application. This set might even make it to the ParaNoire shop in a limited edition, because I gifted the remaining leo fabric to Eva - for Panty Science!

[Review] Harness Glory by Esty Lingerie

Heart Harness

In the last few years I've bought stuff of tiny indie brands via Esty as well as some of Esty’s designs and it’s always been a pleasure.

When Estelle asked me to review two of her new strappy styles for the blog I was more than happy to do so. Actually I’ve been very bad, because I received the items in May - and well it’s September now.. but life happened and stuff. oops.

So, lo and behold, the Esty Lingerie Strappy loveliness masterpost review thing!

[Review] Hunkemöller Maya

Maya

[Review] Kiss Me Deadly Swimwear - a Day on the Balcony

kmdlace02.jpg

In their recent “yay we’re moving” sale I snatched two of my favourite swimwear designs: The darling Lace Shell Print Bikini and the blue Dolores Swimdress.

[transparency note: the items were purchased by yours truly]

Lace Shell Print Bikini

I was lucky enough to find both the bottoms as the top were still left in my size (or closish, I wear S in tops) so I chose a size M in the top as S was sold out and M in the bottoms.

[Review] Aikyou Stella - Fierce and Comfortable

Stella Denocte Closeup

When I got the choice to test one of the pretties by Aikyou I didn't have to think twice: This German brand quickly got one of my favourites regarding clean designs in the last few months. plus, Fair Trade Cotton, produced in Germany and Croatia - yay! I wear bralets and wirefree bras a lot but somehow I never got to try them on! So I was psyched to try the new "Stella" Bralet.

Stella is available in black, sizes XS, S, M and L for 69,90€ at the Aikyou Online Shop.

love the look of clean tops that don't give away their whole charme on the first glance but save some of their design for a closer look. I have to disagree with the snippet in one thing though: Although Aikyou call it a bra, I'd rather call it a bralet or top. It doesn't sport a back clasp or adjustable straps but is worn like a crop top you just slip on - A wonderfully pretty top.

[Review] Pixel Panties in the flesh!

Pixel Panties for 8-bit butts!

So, you all remember the ultra awesome kickstarter for the wonderful Pixel Panties I already wrote about on here, right? Well, they officially launched a while ago and the designers were kind enough to send me a pair of their knickers. thank you again!

as soon as I opened the envelope I screamed because OMG awesome. That's when I thought I could do another unboxing vid because a) the packaging is amazing and b) I got a new phone with better quality and c) maybe this makes the whole blogging thing a bit easier for me again.

So, for my first impressions and excited stumbling look at this vid: Isn't the packaging amazing?

[Review] Rösch Pyjama - gesund schlafen

PJ London

[Review] Cleo by Panache Maddie in 30C

Cleo Maddie

Back when I was wearing 30D or 30DD Cleo by Panache was my favourite brand for everyday bras. I loved the wide wires and some of their styles were a perfect fit for me and some of them were the first bras I ever wore that really fit! So, me and Cleo, bffs.

At one time I owned three different Cleo Georges (green, turquoise, buttermilk)! I loved the Juna, the Lucy, the Marcie is my favourite ever which I'm still wearing in 30D although it's a bit too big but I just can't stop wearing it. And I tried on more or less every Cleo bra I got my hands on.
