Hey folks, finally I can present the Review of the first bra by SugarShape: The Dolce Vita.
Thanks a lot SugarShape for providing the bra!
My friend Eve bought the bra too, so another review will follow soon!
- SugarShape Dolce Vita padded bra, removable Push Up cussions
- Size 65/82,5 (read more about the sizing system here)
- style: Cups offer one horizontal and one vertical seam
- Bandlength: 50cm
- Bandlength streched: 66cm
- Wirelength: 23,5cm
- Width of one wires (measured in a horizontal line from the center gore): 12,0cm
- Width of one wire from end to end: 13,0cm
- Center gore: wires touch each other
- Straps: 20mm broad
- 3 hook clasp
Tight and firm.
I wear it with an extender (Underbust measurement very tight 68cm), you can purchase the matching extender in the SugarShape shop. It's very comfortable with the extender. I had to choose the 65 band because 70/82,5 isn't available. But I don't care, the extender doesn't bother me :)
Some pictures show that the band on the black Dolce Vita produces some weird drapes, but it doesn't do so on me. I don't know whether it's the style (laceprint) or whether it's me though ;)
The band is in the small sizes too very broad and reaches up very high under your arms. It's not uncomfortable but I wanted to note it. But it's perfect to not cut in your back! So great!
Dream come true!
The cups are cotton lined, so they are really comfortable on your skin. The outer fabric is soft and smooth, the lace is a really great print. It does look even nicer in real life. You can't see the lace through a shirt.
Are rather wide, 20mm, even in the smaller sizes. It looked very strange to me at first, but they are really comfortable, I was very surprised!
And once worn they don't look enormous anymore, even on a small bra.
I hope there will be smaller straps on future styles (and the SugarShape Sisters normally listen to their customers ;) ) though, so you can wear the bra with a top with thin straps. This is definitely not a summer bra for me, because I always wear tops with thinner straps ;)
Somehow different than most british bras I tried. If it's slightly too big the shape is a tiny bit pointy. You could compare it to the shape in Konrdas bras, but with a much better support and moooore push up. But really nice I think. wa-wa-woom!
If you insert the pads than it's really wa-wa-woom deluxe - it would be too much for me for a daily wear bra. Maybe for special occasions.
Very nice support due to the broad band. The cups are perfect for me and I could even wear it without straps (no, they are not removable)
I chose the cute key and I like it! It's not very prominent on the laceprint, but looks great on the black bra. Since I need a very small bra size the size of the charm is really sufficient, I guess it could look a bit tiny in bigger sizes.
I had the bra, a panty, an extender and a bra charm delivered. It all came well wrapped in pink paper and rose petals, aww!
And there was a Folder with washing instructions and more Infos, a handwritten (!) postcard and a picture of the black Dolce Vita.
with pads and vavavoom
Sir Isaac war eine große Hilfe. Wie immer.
The surprise of this year so far in my sizing range! Honestly I didn't think this bra would look this great on smaller breasts!
I didn't see a lot of SugarShape bras in bigger sizes though, so please share your experiences, I'm really interested!
I'm on the edge of my seat what else is to come.
At the moment they produce a Bikini for the summer *yeah* and you can vote for your favourite colours/design on the next balconnette bra by SugarShape here.
