[Review] Girls Will Be Boys - Boxers in pink

While I love my pretty lace lingerie, I also lost my heart to comfy, more butch stuff. Since I'm very smallbusted I can ditch a bra if I don't feel like wearing one and just wear a tight sports top - but what to wear around my butt?

Butt problems

I resort to buying men's boxers and boyshorts for those butch days, but I'm not really liking the extra fabric between my legs. Since I saw Girls Will Be Boys online I just loved to try them. Because, that's me. I'm a cis woman, but I have my days off from lacy frills and cliché feminine style. Where I rather be lounging in a pair of boxers and a tank top then pretty lace - because, why should comfy cotton briefs be reserved for cis male people only?

I ordered one pair of booty briefs for 16.99$  in pink, size M, and one pair of boxer briefs for 18.99$ in red-black, size S since M was sold out.

Both briefs are available through sizes S-Xl and in a variety of colours.

The whole ordering process went really smoothly, and the shipping was really fast!

Comfort

The fabric is nice and smooth, with 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex. The waistband doesn't cut in in size M, size S you can see that if I wanted a smooth look I really should've waited for M to be restocked ;) but it's still very comfortable.

Although I like the fabric and fit a lot, I'm not altogether satisfied with the stitching. I feel I can get better quality stitching in high street shops. It's not awful, but I would've wished for better

I ordered them also to maybe use them as workout pants for poledance and they are really nice! I won't use the booty briefs for class though since they are pretty cheeky, but the boxers perfectly double as workout shorts for me.

All in all I love the design, the fabric and the clean cuts. The stitching is just a minor flaw and if they ever run a sale I'll be more than interested in stocking up my briefs!

And, as a favour from yours truly, my new kitten also wanted to be in the pics!

You ever tried Girls Will Be Boys? What are your experiences? And what are your brands for androgynous lingerie?

Yay, veery cool :) We were just talking about this issue yesterday, that it would be really cool if there were "long panties" not-grandma-style to prevent sore thighs when wearing a skirt or baggy pants, or at least boxers without the extra fabric for male parts. This brand seems pretty cool. You don't happen to know any alternative more regional, do you? Since we don't really like to order from other continents/countries for ecological reasons.. love, Sarah

Sorry Love, I don't know of any local brands doing boxershorts for people without penises :( But if you happen to find any, please let me know! you can check out ParaNoire Design though, she does a LOT of custom knickers.

If you want some more variety and nicer stitching (although I love GWBB products too) try looking into TomboyX. http://tomboyx.com/collections/types?q=underwear. They look really good, excellent quality, and in my opinion, have a very nice variety of styles. Downside is they're PRICEY! If I budget and scrimp to put away for an "underwear fund" lol it won't hit my piggy bank too hard.
